we all know & LOVE those iconic PB blossom cookies — soft peanut butter cookies crowned with a hershey's chocolate kiss 💋
so naturally… I had to give them the erica treatment! 😌✨
introducing BTR blossoms 🍪🤍
a grain-free, protein & fiber-boosted cookie base made with almond or hazelnut butter (to perfectly match the hearts), studded with crunchy BTR cinnamon cashew crunch bars, then finished with a BTR almond or hazelnut butter heart.
classic comfort cookie energy… just upgraded with better-for-you ingredients. perfect for sharing with your loved ones… or keeping a few for yourself! 🥰
Ingredients
protein cookie
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Hazelnut Butter, use in place of nut butter

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Almond Butter, use in place of nut butter

add-ins
- 222 Cinnamon Cashew Crunch Protein + Superfood Bar - B.T.R. Nation, use in place of chocolate chips, or 1/2 cup chopped almonds & hazelnuts

toppings
- Almond Butter Cups - B.T.R. Nation, frozen, I used the valentine's almond butter hearts

- Dark Chocolate Brownie Batter Hazelnut Butter Hearts - B.T.R. Nation, frozen, I used the valentine's hazelnut butter hearts

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- preheat oven to 350.
- to a saucepan, add butter & melt over medium heat.
- to brown butter, stir butter occasionally & cook for an additional 8-10 minutes.
- transfer fat to a bowl; allow to cool.
- add in almond or hazelnut butter, optional miso, monk fruit, egg, & vanilla extract.
- using a hand mixture, combine all wet ingredients together.
- in a separate bowl, sift together almond flour, protein powder, baking soda, & salt.
- fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
- fold in your choice of BTR cinnamon cashew crunch bars (works best to microwave for 15 seconds before crumbling in), almonds, &/or hazelnuts.
- place cookie dough in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- using a small cookie scoop, add 2 scoops of cookie dough to your hands, then roll into balls (should form 18-20 cookies) & evenly space out on a baking sheet.
- bake cookies for 9-11 minutes.
- allow to cool for 3-4 minutes, then carefully transfer cookies to a separate baking sheet (option to use a round object to get cookies into more of a circle shape).
- place a frozen BTR almond or hazelnut butter heart into the center of each cookie, then immediately freeze for 15 minutes to allow hearts to set in cookies.
- remove from freezer & enjoy!!!
