Caesar Shrimp Skewers (Edit recipe)

After my 2-ingredient Caesar Chicken wings, I had to share my 2-ingredient Caesar Shrimp Skewers. That is what I love about Caesar dressing - its versatility. Most people make a Caesar salad and top it with some steamed flavorless shrimp. But if you have a bottle of Caesar dressing sitting in your fridge and some shrimp in your freezer, put those 2 together. Marinate the shrimp in the dressing, cook it and then add it to your Caesar salad to elevate it further. And to be honest, you don't even need a Caesar salad to enjoy these shrimp skewers... just enjoy them straight off the stick!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Marinate the shrimp in your favorite Caesar dressing. Add salt and pepper if your dressing doesn't contain enough. Refrigerate for at least half an hour or overnight for best results.
  2. Skew shrimp onto wooden or metal skewers. Brush some avocado oil or use cooking spray.
  3. If using the grill, cook the shrimp skewers for about 4 minutes each side.
  4. If using the oven, preheat the oven at 425°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  5. Line the shrimp skewers on the tray and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway. Feel free to brush some more dressing during cooking.
  6. Drizzle some more Caesar dressing, sprinkle some freshly ground black pepper and parmesan cheese.
  7. Enjoy the shrimp skewers right off the stick or serve them on romaine lettuce with more Caesar dressing, croutons, lemon wedges and parmesan cheese.
