Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, yogurt, honey, baking powder, and salt. Once combined, mix in chocolate chips.
  3. Create 5 smooth balls using the dough. Flatten and make a hole in the center using your fingers.
  4. OPTIONAL (Bagels will still turn out great but this gives more of a true bagel consistency!): Boil water in a pot and add baking soda. Add honey or maple syrup to the water to sweeten a bit. Transfer bagels to the boiling water and allow them to cook for 30 seconds on each side. Transfer bagels to a parchment lined baking sheet.
  5. Brush bagels with an egg wash or with some avocado oil.
  6. Bake the bagels for 20-23 minutes.
  7. Once bagels have finished baking, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool completely. Once cooled, slice your bagels, toast them if desired, and enjoy alone or with toppings of choice!
