Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. 1. Pat dry your meat and generously rub it in your kinders blend seasoning. (If you don’t have the blend, you can use a mixture of salt, pepper and garlic powder).
  2. 2. Sear your meat on all sides.
  3. 3. While your meat sears slice your onions.
  4. 4. Once your onions start to soften add your flour and stir a little more.
  5. 5. Add your tomato paste and chopped garlic and stir well.
  6. 6. Pour in your beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme and salt and pepper. Mix well
  7. 7. Add your roast back in and cover.
  8. 8. Cook in your slow cooker or high for 4-5 hours or low for 8 hours. You can also do this on the stove top. If on the stovetop cook in medium for for 2-3 hours or until your meat is tender.
  9. 9. Optional add shredded Gruyère cheese

Notes

I like to serve this with garlic bread or mashed potatoes!
