- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 pan with parchment.
- In a bowl, whisk almond butter, sugar, coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Sift in GF flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Add in chocolate chips
- Spread batter into pan and bake 20–25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with fudgy crumbs.
- Cool completely.
- For the Topping:
- add all ingredients into a blender or food processor.
- Pulse until dates and pecans start to chop
- Keep blending until smooth/slightly chunky for a thicker texture
- Spread the coconut-pecan topping over the cooled brownies.
- Slice and enjoy!
