  • .5 cup Salted Butter (1 stick; can sub dairy-free)
  • 1 cup Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • .75 cup Granulated Sugar
  • .25 tsp Salt
  • .75 cup Milk, (can sub dairy-free)
  • 4-5 cups Peaches, about 7 depending on size), sliced
  • .5 tsp Cinnamon
  • .25 cup Brown Sugar
  • .25 cup All Purpose Flour, Gluten-Free (or 2 tbsp cornstarch; add to thicken if your peaches are extra ripe and juicy.)

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat oven to 375u00b0. Melt butter in the bottom of a cast iron skillet while the oven preheats. Remove from the oven before the butter starts to brown.
  2. Toss peaches in a large bowl with brown sugar and cinnamon. *If your peaches are extra ripe & juicy, add 1/4 cup flour or 2 tbsp cornstarch to thicken.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Slowly add milk stirring until a smoothe batter forms.
  4. Pour flour mixture over the melted butter, then pour the peach mixture on top. DO NOT MIX!
  5. Bake at 375u00b0 for about 40 minutes or until golden brown and center is set.
  6. Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
