Gluten-Free Pumpkin Spiced Vanilla Donuts (Edit recipe)

These vanilla donuts are lightly spiced with pumpkin pie spice, no canned pumpkin needed. They are baked and have a delicious vanilla glaze that you can embellish any way you like or leave plain.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Pre-heat oven to 425F. Grease 2 donut pans and set aside.
  2. Grab a large bowl and add GF flour, sugar, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Whisk it all together.
  3. In a seperate bowl add milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and oil. Mix together then add to flour mixture.
  4. To fill the pans

    1. Spoon the batter into the donut pans or using piping or a Ziploc bag place an empty bag into a large glass pointy tip down. Fill the bag with the batter, then snip a corner about 1-inch and pipe around the donut pan. The batter will be a bit runny.
    2. Bake 7-10 minutes or until a toothpick placed in donut comes out clean.
    3. Cool on wire rack.

    Make the glaze

    1. Combine powdered sugar and milk of choice and whisk until smooth.
    2. Carefully dip each donut in the glaze. Let is set a few seconds then repeat the dip process.
    3. Drizzle with caramel sauce (optional) or sprinkle with your favorite sprinkles.
