Prepare tender chunks of authentic moist South Indian Chicken Curry in a rich tomato-based sauce with use of our seasoning mix. You’ll fall in love with it!!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results

Prepare Marinade

  1. Mix Step 1 spice packet with yogurt and 1 Tbsp olive oil.
  2. Pour marinade over chicken and mix well.
  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

Prepare Sauce and Cook Chicken

  1. Heat 3 Tbsp olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions till golden brown for 5-7 mins.
  2. Halfway through add bell pepper and jalapeño.
  3. Turn heat down to medium low, add Step 2 packet for 2 mins; sauté till spices stick to onions.
  4. Add tomatoes, mix well and soften for 5 -7 mins.
  5. Add marinated meat, cilantro and water, mix well.
  6. Cover pot tightly with lid, bring to boil, turn heat to medium low and cook for 30-45 mins till chicken is cooked.
  7. Add unsweetened coconut milk (optional)
  8. Add lemon juice, mix well and turn off stove within 2 mins.

Notes

Serve with rice, naan or turmeric infused coconut rice for a truly decadent experience. Repurpose leftovers as a spicy chicken wrap.
