homemade bbq sauce (Edit recipe)

I am a firm believer that a sauce, condiment, or dressing truly elevates any dish. bbq sauce is a midwest staple & of course there are several delicious one's to buy, but it's also fun to mix & match different fruits/spices to make a unique homemade bbq sauce! here I am sharing my chipotle raspberry bbq sauce.

  1. in a small pan, add all ingredients.
  2. bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 8-10 minutes.
  3. remove from heat, then add to a food processor or blend with an immersion blender to puree.
  4. serve as you would any bbq sauce!
