Homemade Blizzard
If you love blizzards, stop what you're doing right now! Nothing in the world compares to a homemade blizzard when you can control and micromanage all the toppings you put in your blizzard. I always use a vanilla bean base, and love to play around with the mix-in's! Each time, I always put in a little caramel sauce for extra sweetness and flavor, but oreos are definitely my favorite. Feel free to play around with the combos, but THIS is our favorite so far!

- Place your kitchen aid bowl in the freezer 30 minutes before using.
- Once chilled, remove from the freezer.
- Use the flat beater attachment.
- Add the entire tub of ice cream to the kitchen aid bowl and mix on low until just starting to soften.
- Add your oreos, chocolate chip cookies, M&M's and caramel sauce.
- Mix on low (1 or 2 speed) until as combined as you'd like. You can minimally mix, or thoroughly mix. I like to go somewhere in the middle.
- You may have to scrape the attachment down once or twice.
- Once it is mixed how you want it, serve immediately or transfer the blizzard mix back into the ice cream container and freeze.
- Enjoy!
