Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Using a serrated knife, carefully slice bagels into ⅛” thick rounds, making sure not to smush them to keep maximum surface area for your bagel chips. For easier slicing, cut the bagel in half first to create two “C” shapes, then continue slicing.
- In a large bowl, drizzle the bagel slices with olive oil and toss to coat. Season with salt and garlic powder, then toss again to ensure all the pieces are well coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 325°F, then add in the bagel slices to the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for about 10-15 minutes, tossing every few minutes to ensure even cooking. Check frequently to ensure they are crispy and golden but not burnt. Adjust cook time as needed.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool before serving. Enjoy your homemade gluten free bagel chips!
Notes
You can adjust the seasonings to your taste—add more or less salt and garlic powder, or include other spices you love! Keep in mind, the cook time may vary depending on the thickness of your bagel slices and how many you put in the air fryer at once.
