Homemade Maple Syrup Breakfast Sausages
The perfect Sunday morning breakfast! These are simple, cozy, and just downright delicious! I double this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Ground Chicken, Or ground turkey or pork

- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt

- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Black Pepper

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Thyme, Dried

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Sage, Dried

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Onion Powder

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl
- Using a cookie scooper, make them into 8 even patties
- Cook them in a cast iron pan over medium-low heat (you can add a little butter for cooking if you have really lean meat) for about 5 minutes until they are brown on the bottom and flip them till done
