Hot Honey Chili Oil
The perfect combo between sweet and spicy sauce has arrived! Introducing my hot honey chili oil dipping sauce. Perfect for coating a fried chicken tender into or for dipping into!
Ingredients
- 2 cloves2 cloves2 cloves Garlic, (fresh, grated)
- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Chili Flakes
- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Canola Oil, (or any neutral oil of choice)
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Parsley, Dried
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt and Pepper
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Hot Honey - Zoë Olive Oil
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a saucepan over medium heat, heat neutral oil
- In a bowl, add your garlic, dried chili flakes, parsley, salt and pepper and hot honey
- Once the oil is hot enough for a toothpick to bubble up, it is ready
- Pour your oil over the hot honey and spice mixture - it should create mini bubbles and make a noise (activating the spices)
- Give it a good mix and use immediately OR store in a glass jar on the counter for future use
- Enjoy!
Notes
Store in an air tight glass container or a glass jar on counter to keep for future recipes. If you find it is not thick enough or too spicy, you can add regular honey to balance it out!
