Iced chocolate chai with salted cornmilk foam ft Maizly cornmilk
Love an iced drink, but want something different? This iced chocolate chai with a salted cornmilk foam is sure to be the answer. You allow your Chocolate cornmilk by Maizly to soak with chai spices for at least 24 hours in the fridge. The cornmilk is a great alternative for those with a dairy allergy or just love a cornmilk flavor!
I don't usually go for chocolate in a drink, but every now and then I really crave chocolate and this drink does just the trick to satisfy the craving.
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Chocolate Cornmilk - Maizly

- 1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp Chai spices by The spice house
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Cornmilk - Maizly

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Sea Salt

- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Milk chocolate chips
Salted Cornmilk foam
Chocolate drizzle

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a cup of your choosing with a sealed tightly lid. Add your cornmilk and chai spices. Stir and seal with lid. Let this sit on the fridge for 24 hours minimum.
- The next day melt your milk chocolate chips in a microwave safe container. Heat for 6 seconds at a time, stirring in between
- Grab a glass of your choosing and drizzle the chocolate all around the cup
- Place in the freezer for 20 minutes
- After 20 minutes grab your glass and pour your chocolate chai mixture into it.
- Pour the original maizly cormmilk into a cup along with a pinch of seasalt
- Use a handheld frother and froth your cornmilk foam for 10 seconds.
- Pour on top of your drink and drizzle with remaining chocolate.
Notes
Allowing your chai spices to sit in the cornmilk for 24 hours really enhances the flavor
