Instant Pot Bbq Beef Short Ribs (Edit recipe)

This is one of those recipes that impresses everyone but is so easy to put together. This recipe can be done in a slow cooker but you would need to near the meat on the stove first. I would then cook the meat on low for 8 hours.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. 1. Set you instant pot to sauté
  2. 2. Rub your steak seasoning on all sides of the short ribs.
  3. 3. Once the instant pot is hot add your olive oil and sear the meat in batches. Make sure not to over crowd the meat so it can get a good crust.
  4. 4. Once the meat is seared on all sides remove from the instant pot and deglaze the pot with the red wine.
  5. 5. Add the meat and the remaining ingredients into the instant pot and set on presser cook for 1 1/2 hours.

Notes

These short ribs are great served with mashed potatoes, veggies or even rice. The sauce if so flavorful too! I love using the instant pot. It helped the meat tenderize quickly and everything is don’t in one pan!
