Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken
This is a simple recipe for amazing BBQ chicken! It's easy to do for BBQ sandwiches, a topping for baked potatoes, BBQ sliders, etc. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Bone-In Chicken Thighs - Bachman Family Farms, Can also use boneless chicken thighs
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz No Sugar Classic BBQ Sauce - Yo Mama's Foods
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Liquid Smoke, Hickory
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Place the chicken at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour sauce over and add remaining ingredients.
- Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
- Take the chicken out and shred. If there are bones, remove them.
- Take the sauce out and skim off the fat.
- Place chicken and sauce back in the slow cooker on low until serving time.
Notes
This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to feed a crowd. Bone-in or boneless chicken thighs work best. I've used chicken breasts, and they're not as moist, but still a good BBQ sandwich.
