Jerk Seasoning
This Jerk Seasoning (Whole30, Paleo) will change the way you look Jerk seasoning. You will want to put this on everything and I do mean everything. This delicious marinate is easy to make and stores well in the refrigerator.
Ingredients
- .5.5.5 Onion, peeled and, chopped
- 333 Green Onion (Scallion)
- 5 sprigs5 sprigs5 sprigs Thyme, fresh, leaves removed from the stems
- 222 Wiri Wiri Peppers, or 1 scotch bonnet or 1 habanero pepper
- 2 pieces2 pieces2 pieces Ginger Root, 1 inch piece, peeled and chopped
- 8 cloves8 cloves8 cloves Garlic
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Coconut Aminos
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp ground Allspice
- .5 Tbsp.5 Tbsp.5 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Nutmeg
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Yellow Mustard
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Salt
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp distilled White Vinegar, or red wine or apple cider
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Avocado Oil

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Combine all of the ingredients except for the coconut aminos, oil and vinegar into a food processor
- Then process until the all spice berries are finely chopped if using whole berries (if you have a spice grinder you can also grind the berries before adding to the food processor)
- Next pour in the coconut aminos, oil and vinegar and pulse for a few seconds to mix together. Alternatively you may also use a spoon to mix together
- Finally, pour into an air tight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
Notes
For maximum freshness store the left over seasoning in an air tight jar, such as a mason jar and always use a clean spoon when removing seasoning from the jar.
