Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Prepare the Challah dough according to the instructions on the packaging, but only do the first rise before rolling the dough.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the maple sugar and Cinnamon Sugar Cookie blend.
  3. Preheat oven to 350.
  4. Lightly dust a sheet of parchment paper, or your work surface with arrowroot starch, and roll your challah dough out to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Spread 1/4 cup of softened butter over the dough, and then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the butter, and then gently massage the sugar and cinnamon into the butter.
  6. Roll up the dough, and then cut into 9 equal portions.
  7. Place the cinnamon rolls in a 9 inch round cake pan. Cover the pan, and allow the cinnamon rolls to rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Place the cinnamon rolls in the oven to bake, uncovered for 25-30 minutes.
  9. While the cinnamon rolls are baking, prepare the frosting, by blending the remaining 1/4 cup of butter with the cream cheese, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and sifted powdered sugar.
  10. Allow the cinnamon rolls to cool for about 5 minutes, and then frost and enjoy.
