Maple Glazed Chicken Tenders (Edit recipe)

I don't love chicken, it can give me the ick. So when I tell you that this is one of my favorite chicken recipes, it's for a good reason! It is sweet, savory, salty and a little spicy thanks to the italian seasoning. This is best served fresh so you have the warm, glazed maple syrup, but also works well for meal prep or serving throughout the week.

  1. Heat a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Melt butter but don’t let it burn.
  3. While pan and butter are heating/melting, toss chicken with steak seasoning to evenly coat.
  4. Add chicken to the pan. Cook evenly and until no longer pink for about 8-10 minutes, flipping half way through.
  5. Remove chicken from pan and add maple syrup to the pan until warm and a bit thickened and bubbly, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add green onions and stir for 1 minute.
  7. Pour maple syrup over chicken for serving.
