Mini Date Caramel Apple Pops
I am so excited to share these Mini Date Caramel Apple Pops with you! They are vegan, gluten-free, and refined-sugar free. So fun and easy to make - no actual caramel required. Just store them in the freezer and pop them out right before serving and they are sure to be a hit and you will want to double this recipe!
Melon Ball Scooper and Lollipop sticks
Ingredients
- 12 whole12 whole12 whole Medjool Dates, pits removed
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Granny Smith Apple
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup 100% Unsweetened Chocolate Chips, dairy-free
- 0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 bunch1 bunch1 bunch Pecans, crushed (for dipping)
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Peel apple. Using a melon ball scooper, scoop out ball sections of the apple.
- Take a soft pitted date and place one apple ball inside. Fully close and cover apple with date and roll it around in your hands or on a clean surface to form a ball. Insert a lollipop stick.
- Optional: Melt chocolate with oil and pour into a small glass or bowl. Dip each date apple pop halfway into the chocolate. Dip into crushed pecans, peanuts, or anything you like and freeze for an hour.
Notes
