Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Dry roast 1 cup Mung bean until it is well roasted and set aside.
- Dry roast 1/4 cup Walnuts.
- Add the roasted Mung bean and Walnuts to a high-speed blender along with seeds of 5 cardamom pods and grind to a powder (not very fine)
- Heat 1.5 tbsp ghee in a pan and add 1/4 cup chopped cashews and 1/4 cup chopped raisins.
- Keeping the heat on low, add the mung bean-walnut mixture and 3/4 cup powdered jaggery.
- Mix well and switch off the heat when the jaggery starts to incorporate well into the mixture.
- Make small round balls after a minute or so before the mixture cools down completely, else you won't be able to make balls out of it.
- Enjoy once it cools down. You can also refrigerate for later use.
Notes
Reduce Jaggery if you don't prefer it too sweet.
