Orzo soup
This delicious orzo and mushroom soup will be the perfect addition to a cold winter night.
Ingredients
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups White Mushrooms, Chopped
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Orzo Pasta
- 4 cups4 cups4 cups Hot Water
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp All Purpose Seasoning - Vegeta
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Garlic Powder
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Black Pepper
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Butter, Unsalted
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Start off by melting butter,
- aadd your mushrooms. Sauté them for a few minutes
- Add your all purpose flour and mix for 30 seconds
- add your water and seasonings.
- Bring it to boil
- Add your orzo
- Bring it to boil and put it too low to simmer
- Once orzo is cooked and liquid has gotten thicker
- Turn off your stove and enjoy
