Living in Hawai’i we can get a wide variety of macadamia nuts. These cookies use the basic Mac nuts that you can find anywhere. White chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies were my dad’s favorite cookie I made. If you haven’t tried these you need to, they are delicious. Hope you enjoy

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl add the flours, baking soda, and salt. Stir
  3. Add the butter, almond butter, vanilla, and sugar. Stir until well combined.
  4. Add the egg and stir.
  5. Add chips and nuts, stir.
  6. Using a medium ice cream scoop, scoop 9 cookies onto each pan. Slightly press down with wet fingers.
  7. Bake for 13-14 minutes. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before moving to a cooling rack.

Notes

If you don’t like macadamia nuts you can use other nuts.
