Pineapple Habanero Shrimp
When you have such amazing ingredients I like to keep it simple. I was hungry for a protein snack and decided to try this…oh wow! The flavor is fresh and spicy. This shrimp would be perfect over a salad or rice.
Ingredients
- .5 lb.5 lb.5 lb Wild-Caught Raw Shrimp - US Wellness Meats, defrosted
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Butter, Salted
- .33 cup.33 cup.33 cup Pineapple Habanero Jam - Profanity Jam
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Pat shrimp dry.
- In a medium saucepan turn heat on medium heat. Add butter and let melt.
- Add shrimp in one layer ensuring all are touching the pan.
- Cook for 2 minutes.
- Turn over and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add jam and cook for 1 more minute.
- Turn heat off and carefully stir around so all sides of shrimp are coated in the jam.
- Eat as is or over salad or rice.
Notes
I also tried the passion fruit habanero jam and it was delicious too.
