Simple Cranberry Sauce (Edit recipe)

This cranberry sauce is so simple to make!  And of course, absolutely no refined sugar.  You can serve this as a side for those upcoming holiday meals, use it as a baking ingredient, smother on a fresh piece of sourdough toast, or pour on a warm waffle.  There are so many ways to use this simple sauce.  ENJOY!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. ASSEMBLY
  2. Add all of the ingredients to a medium sized saucepan. Mix the ingredients until fully combined.
  3. Cover and cook over medium low heat. Stirring often.
  4. Once the cranberries begin to heat up, you'll start to hear them pop.
  5. Remove the cover after about 15 minutes.
  6. Continue to cook and squish the cranberries on the side of the pan using a spatula.
  7. Stir, and let the sauce cool and thicken.
  8. Serve warm or you can store in the fridge and serve cool.
  9. ENJOY!
