Simple Roasted Garlic Shakshuka
An easy, cozy shakshuka shortcut made with garlic marinara. It tastes slow-cooked, a bit fancy and has so much flavor yet only takes 15 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Red Bell Pepper, diced
- 2 - 4 cloves2 - 4 cloves2 - 4 cloves Garlic, minced

- 24 oz24 oz24 oz Marinara Sauce, about 1 Jar of any marinara
- 4 - 6 whole4 - 6 whole4 - 6 whole Eggs
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Feta Cheese
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Parsley, finely chopped

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt and Pepper

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a heated pan add. oil, garlic on bell pepper
- Saute for 5 minutes or until tender
- Pour the marinara into the skillet
- Simmer 3–5 minutes until gently bubbling.
- Make small wells in the sauce with a spoon. Crack each egg into a well.
- Cover the skillet and cook 5–8 minutes, until egg whites are set but yolks are still slightly jammy (or cook longer if you prefer firmer yolks).
- Season with salt and pepper. Top with feta and herbs. Serve straight from the skillet with bread for dipping.
