Steak Frites w/ Chimichurri
A beautifully seared steak, crispy baked fries, and fresh chimichurri sauce—this combo is pure heaven! I love cooking my steak to a perfect medium rare, and I prefer baking or air frying the potatoes for a lighter take on this classic. The bright chimichurri sauce, packed with garlic and parsley, elevates the steak’s rich flavor -- while the crispy frites add a satisfying, guilt-free crunch. Provecho amigos!

- For the steak- Preheat a cast iron. or stainless steel pan for at least 3-5 minutes.

- Flip steak, cook for one minute. Add rosemary, garlic clove, and butter at this point and using a spoon baste the steak with melted butter.
- Sear the edges of the steak for about 30 seconds per side.
- I like my steak medium rare/medium, so I like to pull my steak when it reaches 125 degrees Fahrenheit. Let your steak rest about 10 minutes and it will finish cooking. My steak is usually done when it reaches 130-135 degrees Fahrenheit.
