Taco Tuesday Tenders
It's almost game day and these Taco Tuesday Tenders will definitely be one of the highlights. These have become a household regular around here, they are crunchy, juicy, with just a hint of heat. The dipping sauce brings some unbeatable flavor to these tasty tenders, and if you have kids... They're gonna love em!
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Chicken Tenders

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Sea Salt

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Original Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Kosterina

- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Black Pepper

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Red Onion, minced
- 2 cloves2 cloves2 cloves Garlic, minced

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Salsa
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 fl oz1 fl oz1 fl oz Beer
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Lime, juiced

- 6 oz6 oz6 oz Corn Tortilla Chips, crushed
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Chili Lime Seasoning
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Original Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Kosterina

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Garlic, minced

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Red Onion, minced
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Black Pepper

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Salsa

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Either the night before or morning of add all ingredients to a ziplock style bag and shake together until chicken is completely coated. ( about 1 minute )
- Seal the bag and refrigerate overnight or for 4 to 8 hours.
- In a separate bag crush 6 oz ( 1/2 bag ) of tortilla chips and add your pinch of chili lime seasoning and shake! ( You can add more chili lime if you'd like )
- Preheat your air fryer to 400º, pour tortilla chips onto a large cookie sheet and coat each tender with the tortilla chip breading
- Place in your air fryer for 25 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165º F dip and enjoy!
- Dipping Sauce!
- In a small bowl mix all ingredients together until well combined.
- Refrigerate until ready to use
Notes
If you are using a conventional oven for this recipe preheat your oven to 350º and bake your tenders for 30 minutes flipping every 15 minutes.
