Tandoori Salmon Bites
These tandoori Salmon bites are perfect for serving as an appetizer or enjoying as a whole meal over greens. Traditionally, tandoori dishes get their name from a "tandoor" which is a clay oven, where the marinated meat was cooked. This is a simple version baked in the oven .A quick 10 minute marinade in a blend of Indian spices and plain yogurt creates a fragrant and savory coating to complement the robust flavor of the salmon. The tender salmon bites will melt in your mouth with a burst of flavor!
Ingredients
- 3 whole3 whole3 whole Wild Caught Salmon Filet, approx 6 ounce per filet
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder, or paprika for less heat
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Ground Cumin
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Garlic Powder, or minced garlic
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp ground Ginger, or grated ginger root
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves, can sub with any other dried herb of choice
- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Plain Yogurt
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Salt
- .5 whole.5 whole.5 whole Lemon, juiced
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Avocado Oil

- Preheat oven to 450F
- Cut salmon into bite size pieces
- Make tandoori marinade by mixing all the ingredients listed above except the salmon
- Add in the salmon pieces and cover each side with the marinade. Let the salmon marinate for 10 mins
- Add the salmon pieces on a sheet pan or a wire rack
- Bake at 450F for 12 -15 mins
- Serve on a bed of greens with a side of onions and a creamy dip
