Tomatillo Green Sauce
Roasted Tomatillos, Jalapenos, and Onions make this sauce extra special! It has the perfect amount of spice and the texture is perfect.
Ingredients
- 444 Tomatillo
- 222 Jalapeño
- 111 Shallot
- 4 cloves4 cloves4 cloves Garlic
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Cilantro
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Sour Cream
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Mayonnaise
- 222 Lime, juiced
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp distilled White Vinegar
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Salt
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Black Pepper

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Take the skin off of the tomatillos then add to a small tray with the jalapeños, shallot, and garlic. Broil for 3 min. Remove the garlic then flip everything and broil for another 3 min.
- Remove the skin of the jalapeños and seeds if you don’t want the sauce to spicy. Chop everything up and add to the blender with the rest of the listed ingredients. I like to blend everything without the cilantro first then add the cilantro and blend again until smooth. This thickens up in the fridge when you let it sit in there for a few hours or overnight. Notes
Store in a air tight container. This sauce holds in the fridge nicely for 4 days. // I also like to use this as a salad dressing.
