Two Ingredient Mandarin and Raspberry Sorbet
Fresh fruit can easily become a delicious and refreshing summer treat! Tiny mandarin oranges make the perfect frozen sorbet. Adding in a little raspberries gives the sorbet a beautiful orange-pink color, and adds a hint of raspberry to your sorbet. This frozen treat is refreshing and healthy for a hot summer day!
Ingredients
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Mandarin Orange Segments, mini mandarin oranges (similar to little cuties)
- 6 oz6 oz6 oz Raspberries, Organic
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Peel the mini mandarins, and wash the raspberries.
- Lay the mandarin segments out on a small sheet pan, and top with the raspberries.
- Freeze the fruit for 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, break the chunks of fruit apart, and place in a food processor.
- Process the frozen fruit, stopping to stir here and there, until the fruit is a smooth sorbet. This may take 5-7 minutes.
- Transfer the sorbet to a container to keep in the freezer.
- Serve with fresh mint if desired, or a drizzle of honey.
