Apple Cinnamon Rice Crispy Treats
Regular rice crispy treats, meet APPLE CINNAMON RICE CRISPY TREATS. When I tell you that you will fall in LOVE with this flavor, I’m not lying.
These won’t be hard and crispy like regualr rice crispy treats (there are no marshmallows in here + the cereal I used is more like puffed rice) but they are soft and chewy and DELIGHTFUL.

- Pour your cereal in a heat proof bowl.
- Add the rest of the ingredients up until the vanilla to a pot over medium heat and stir until bubbling.
- Turn off heat and add the vanilla and cinnamon and combine.
- Add the hot mixture to the bowl with cereal and stir until combined. Pour into a parchment lined 8x8 pan and freeze for an hour. Let sit for about 5 min at room temp before cutting into squares. Can be stored in a sealed container in the fridge. Enjoy!*
Notes
I used rice ruff cereal, which are a bit thicker than rice crispy cereal, so if you’re using rice crispy or another cereal similar in texture I’d start with 2 TBS each of almond butter/maple syrup and add from there if need be.
