Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Add olive oil to 14-inch, deep-sided, nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onions, stirring occasionally for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add salt and pepper; stir occasionally for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add Primal Palate French onion seasoning mix packet; stir. Add honey. Continue stirring about 15-20 minutes, or until onions are golden brown and caramelized. Remove caramelized onions to large plate. Set aside.
  4. Return same skillet to medium heat (do not clean or wipe out). Place thawed U.S. Wellness Meats 75% lean ground beef slider patties in hot skillet; turning after 3-4 minutes. Continue cooking additional 2-3 minutes, or until desired doneness. Remove sliders to large plate; allow to rest for a 3-5 minutes to seal in juices.
  5. Return same skillet to medium heat (do not clean or wipe out). Add onions to skillet to warm them back up; adding in 5 slices dairy-free Swiss cheese, breaking up slices with spatula as cheese melts into onions. Remove from heat once cheese is melted and onions are hot.
  6. Place 12 bottom slider buns on serving platter. Top each bottom bun with 1 slider. Break apart remaining 5 slices dairy-free Swiss cheese, to fit each slider. Top cheese with caramelized onions. Garnish with sliced green onions. Close sliders with 12 top slider buns. Brush bun tops with melted dairy-free butter. Serve immediately.

Notes

To save you time on game day, the caramelized onions can be made 1-2 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Reheat and mix with dairy-free Swiss cheese right before serving sliders (see Step 5).
