taco night but make it tropical 🌴🌮 seared ahi tuna, crunchy slaw, tangy pineapple, & crumbled cheese — all drizzled with huli huli teriyaki sauce (feel free to use any store bought healthier sauce!) for that ultimate island vibe. 🌺 quick, healthy, & ready in under 15 minutes!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. make a batch of huli huli teriyaki sauce or use a low-sugar teriyaki sauce
  2. to a skillet, add broccoli slaw & pineapple; saute for 8-10 minutes.
  3. add ¼ cup huli huli teriyaki sauce + ¼ cup water to veggies; simmer for 5 minutes or until ready to build tacos.
  4. slightly warm corn tortillas to make them more pliable.
  5. make seared ahi tuna following my recipe, then slice.
  6. to a warmed tortilla, add sauteed broccoli slaw & pineapple, ahi tuna, cotija or queso fresco cheese, & garnish with cilantro.
