transforming your favorite little poppers into a melty, upgraded, high-protein open-faced sandwich. 🌶🦀✨
i’m a sucker for good ole lump crab meat, & folding it into this recipe takes lunch to the next level. cheesy, spicy, bacon-y goodness all stacked on my homemade grain-free bread (or your fave bread 😉)… lunch officially leveled up!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. in a bowl, combine all ingredients for jalapeno popper crab mixture.
  2. option to warm in microwave for 30-60 seconds.
  3. to a slice of bread, add jalapeno popper crab mixture + a slice of cheese.
  4. add crab melt to a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes to “toast” bottom of bread, then add a lid to the skillet to melt the cheese.
  5. cut your melt in half, then serve with your favorite chips - I used jackson's jalapeño flavored sweet potato chips!
