Ingredients
jalapeño popper crab mixture
- 0.5 lb0.5 lb0.5 lb Lump Crab Meat
- 1 - 2 oz1 - 2 oz1 - 2 oz Pepper Jack Cheese, shredded
- 2 - 42 - 42 - 4 easy baked bacon (click for recipe), finely chopped
- 111 Jalapeño Pepper, finely chopped
- 0.25 - 0.5 cup0.25 - 0.5 cup0.25 - 0.5 cup greek yogurt ranch dressing (click for recipe)
melt
- 4 pieces4 pieces4 pieces homemade grain-free bread (click for recipe)
- 1 - 2 oz1 - 2 oz1 - 2 oz Pepper Jack Cheese, 2 slices, cut in half
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- in a bowl, combine all ingredients for jalapeno popper crab mixture.
- option to warm in microwave for 30-60 seconds.
- to a slice of bread, add jalapeno popper crab mixture + a slice of cheese.
- add crab melt to a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes to “toast” bottom of bread, then add a lid to the skillet to melt the cheese.
- cut your melt in half, then serve with your favorite chips - I used jackson's jalapeño flavored sweet potato chips!
