Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Season the beef
- Pat brisket dry and rub evenly with the carnitas seasoning on all sides.
- Sear (optional but recommended)
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Transfer to crockpot.
- Add sliced onion and garlic around the beef.
- Pour in beef broth, orange juice, lime juice, and apple cider vinegar.
- Slow cook on Low: 8–10 hours or High: 5–6 hours
- Cook until very tender and easily shreddable.
- Shred beef and enjoy
