Smokehouse BBQ Ribs
This is, quite possibly, the easiest and tastiest way to make ribs, short of a multi-hour trip to the smoker. All you need is your instant pot, our Smokehouse Rub, and your favorite barbecue sauce. The rest is history!
Ingredients
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Pork Baby Back Ribs, one rack of ribs

- 3/4 cup3/4 cup3/4 cup Water
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Smokehouse Rub - Primal Palate

- 1/2 cup1/2 cup1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Slice the baby back ribs into 3 rib portions. Place in your Instant Pot along with about 3/4 cup of water.
- Seal the lid on the instant pot, set to manual (high pressure) for 42 minutes.
- About 10 minutes before the time is up, preheat your grill to medium heat.
- When the time is up on the Instant Pot, rapid release the pressure, then coat the ribs with the spice rub, and place on the grill bones-down.
- Coat the ribs with your favorite barbecue sauce, and flip every 3 minutes. Coat the top side with BBQ sauce, and repeat until each side has gotten 2 coats of BBQ sauce.
- Slice and serve!
