Octopus Summer Roll
Summer is FINALLY here. To celebrate, I’m sharing with you all my octopus summer roll recipe. Simply add a few staple ingredients, mix, and enjoy!
Ingredients
Filling
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Marinated Octopus Salad, (Sardo Foods product)
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt, to taste
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper, to taste
- 2 pieces2 pieces2 pieces Butter Lettuce
Buns
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Brioche Bread, (hot dog shape)
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter, (to toast buns)
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Chives, for garnish
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp fresh Dill, for garnish

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add both packages of the drained octopus to a large mixing bowl
- Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper in that same bowl
- Sprinkle on your chives and dill for some garnish and added flavour, set aside
- Butter both sides of your hot dog buns, set aside
- Heat a large pan over the stove and place your hot dog buns down until a golden colour appears on both sides of the buns
- Remove from heat, place your bed of butter lettuce down first; followed by your octopus mixture and extra garnish of chives/dill
- Add two pieces of lemon for garnish and serve with a side of your favourite potato chips!
Notes
This recipe should make about 4 rolls depending on the size of your buns!
