Air Fryer Crispy Whole Chicken
This Air Fryer Crispy Whole Chicken will be the best chicken you ever ate! Who would have thought you could have tender, juicy chicken in less than an hour with the most delicious crispy skin flavored with herbs and spices. The leftovers, if you are lucky enough to have them make the best chicken salad! I have at least a dozen recipes for different flavored chicken salads!
Ingredients
- 4-5 lb4-5 lb4-5 lb Whole Chicken, patted dry
- 6 cloves6 cloves6 cloves Garlic
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Lime Juice
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Ground Cumin
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Thyme
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Coconut Aminos
- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Combine marinade ingredients in a blender till smooth (all ingredients but chicken).
- Rub marinade all over chicken and under skin too.
- Cover and marinade in fridge 12-24 hours, the longer the better.
- Place in air fryer breast side down and cook 30 mins at 360 degrees.
- Flip chicken and cook 20 more minutes.
- Check temp with thermometer at thickest part- should ready 165 degrees F.
- Let rest 15 minutes.
- Carve and serve
