Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Combine all ingredients, minus arrowroot, in a sauce pan, bringing to a boil, then lower heat and allow to simmer ~10 min until apples soften
- Remove 1/2 cup of the liquid from the pot and stir in arrowroot in a small bowl
- Then pour that back into the pan, and stir until your apple mixture thickens
- Pour into a serving bowl
- For tortillas, cut each in 6-8 chips, line on a baking sheet, spray the tops with nonstick spray, then sprinkle cinnamon & sugar mixture overtop
- Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes until lightly brown (note plain tortillas will need a few minutes less)
- Allow to cool a few minutes, dip, and enjoy!
