Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a large pot, melt your unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Once melted, continue cooking, swirling the pan occasionally, until the butter turns golden brown and smells nutty (about 4-7 minutes). Be careful not to burn it.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the marshmallows to the browned butter. Stir constantly until the marshmallows are fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
- OPTIONAL: Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Quickly fold in the rice cereal and Nana Joes Sunrise Granola until fully coated in the marshmallow mixture. Work quickly before it sets.
- Grease or line a 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper.
- Press the mixture evenly into the pan using a greased measuring cup or your hands.
- Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before slicing into squares.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Notes
If your treats get a bit hard after the day you make them, pop them into your microwave/air fryer (300 degrees F) for about 30s to soften.
