These cannoli-stuffed dates are a sweet, creamy, better-for-you take on the classic Italian dessert. Perfect for entertaining, or when you’re craving a little cannoli cream indulgence!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the strained ricotta and powdered sugar. Use an electric hand mixer to beat until smooth and fluffy, about 1–2 minutes. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  2. Fold in half of the mini chocolate chips.
  3. Open each pitted date and pipe the ricotta mixture inside.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the filled dates.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy!

Notes

*For a little extra garnish, finish with a dusting of powdered sugar or a sprinkle of crushed pistachios!

*The dates & chocolate chips add a good amount of sweetness, but if more is preferred increase powdered sugar to taste
