Caprese Salad with Dark Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar
I love a good Caprese salad, and wanted to take it to the next level with some dark chocolate balsamic vinegar. This flavor combination is out of this world - the chocolate rounds out the acidity of the balsamic and brings even more umami to this dish!
Ingredients
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Tomato, Heirloom, sliced
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Mozzarella, fresh ball, sliced
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Basil, Fresh, chiffonade

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Dark Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar - Kosterina

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Kosher Flake Salt - Primal Palate

- 1/8 tsp1/8 tsp1/8 tsp Black Peppercorns, Ground Fresh, a few grinds
