Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and prep an 8x8 baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
  3. Add almond butter, maple syrup, almond milk, flax eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir until combined.
  5. Pour batter in baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While cake is baking, beat together frosting ingredients until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  7. Stir together caramel ingredients and set aside.
  8. Once cake has cooled, top with frosting.
  9. Drop dollops of caramel on top, and swirl into frosting.
  10. To serve, top with extra caramel, if desired.
