Fried Olives
A simple and easy appetizer to serve up this holiday season! These fried olives will wow your guests and make your hosting job simpler.
Ingredients
- 0.5 whole0.5 whole0.5 whole Green Olives, (jar of green olives stuffed with red pepper, I used Zoë Olive Oil)
- 0.5 whole0.5 whole0.5 whole Green Olives, (jar of green olives stuffed with garlic, I used Zoë Olive Oil)
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Salt and Pepper
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Egg, whisked
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Canola Oil

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a pot over the stove, heat up your oil using a thermometer to guide you if needed
- Dump your olives onto paper towels to absorb some liquid and pat them dry
- Season your panko with salt, pepper and italian seasoning, set aside
- Roll your olives in flour first, then eggs and then your panko mixture, set aside the olives on a dish
- Prepare a baking tray and a wire wrack for your frying station near the stove top
- Once the oil is hot enough, dump your olive into the oil and fry until golden brown
- Remove from oil and allow them to rest
- Serve them warm alone or with dips and enjoy
