How do you feel about Brussel sprouts. If you love them then this recipe is for you! If you don't  like them, you might be cooking them the wrong way in my opinion - steamed or mushy . This recipe makes Brussel sprouts crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The flavors are simple but balance beautifully and the garam masala adds a delicious Indian twist.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Cut the Brussel sprouts into half.
  2. Soak them in water for 10 minutes. This helps in making them crispy on the outside and soft on the inside
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F
  4. Drizzle the Brussel sprouts with oil
  5. Add salt , pepper and garam masala and mix well , making sure the marinade coats the brussels evenly.
  6. Layer into a single layer in the air fryer, making sure not to crowd them. If they don't fit in at one go, do it in 2 batches.
  7. Air fry the Brussel sprouts for 20-25 minutes on 400F till they are crispy and tender. Make sure to shake or stir half way through.
  8. Remove and drizzle with the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup mix well
  9. Air fry for an additional 5 minutes
  10. Serve as a side to grilled meat or fish
