Agent K in Men In Black III said that if you got a problem that you can't solve, pie helps you get out of your head.  My Dad used to say the same thing.  He would take me for pie any time he had to make a big decision.  So we created a pie that is quick and easy to make and it is just the right size to get you out of your head.

For the Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Peel, core and slice the apples.
  3. Cook the apples in a frying pan with 1/4 cup water until they are thoroughly cooked.
  4. Add 1 cup of raisins to the pan.
  5. Add the hazelnut butter, 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter and the dark chocolate sauce.
  6. Cook for no more than 10 minutes until it is all mixed together.
  7. Butter the insides of the souffle cups with the remaining butter.
  8. Divide each of the two pie crusts into three parts, so you have 6 pieces of pie crust dough.
  9. Fit each of the six souffle cups with a pie crust dough piece but if you like save a little bit of dough for topping decoration.
  10. Scoop the meat filling into each souffle cup and top with the remaining dough making lines, squares or even circles. 🙂
  11. Place the cups in the oven at 450F for 20 minutes.
  12. Take them out and let them cool while you are making the whipped cream.

For the Whipped Cream and Topping

  1. Put the heavy whipping cream, the vanilla extract and the salt in a bowl and whip with an electric hand mixer until it becomes whipped cream. It takes somewhere between 5 to 10 minutes depending on temperature.
  2. Put a scoop on each of the six pies.
  3. Sprinkle the whipped cream on each cup with espresso instant coffee and drizzle a little bit of dark chocolate sauce.
  4. Don’t forget to eat any of the leftover chocolate or butter. 🙂
  5. Enjoy!
