Goat Cheese & Fig with Honey Appetizer
This easy appetizer is delicious, creamy, fresh and sweet. Toasted baguette, creamy goat cheese, fresh figs, and honey will wow your guests, and have them coming back for one more bite.
Ingredients
- 4 oz4 oz4 oz Gluten-free Baguette, about 6", sliced
- 2 oz2 oz2 oz Goat Cheese
- 444 Black Mission Figs
- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Honey
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Chives, minced
- 1/4 tsp1/4 tsp1/4 tsp Primal Palate Kosher Flake Salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat the oven to bake at 400.
- Slice your baguette into 1/2 inch slices, and place on a wire rack on a baking sheet.
- Toast the baguette for about 10 minutes, or until golden.
- Top the baguette with goat cheese, slices of fresh figs, a drizzle of balsamic, and a drizzle of honey.
- Sprinkle with fresh chives and Kosher Flake Salt, and serve.
Notes
You can make this recipe and the Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese appetizer with one baguette, by using half of the baguette for the salmon, and half for the figs.
