Goat Cheese Lox Bagel
Traditionally, a lox burger is garnished with fresh dill and capers, but I'm not a big fan of either, so here's my version! It's also a cream cheese spread, but I had goat cheese in the fridge and figured I should put it to good use. See the recipe below!
Ingredients
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Bagel
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Goat Cheese
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Green Onion (Scallion), chopped
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp dried Dill

- 0.5 whole0.5 whole0.5 whole Red Onion, sliced in rings
- 1 pieces1 pieces1 pieces Lemon, wedged
- 0.5 whole0.5 whole0.5 whole Cucumber, peeled
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Everything Bagel Seasoning (Noble Made)
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Spread your goat cheese and green onion/dill mixture onto one-half side of your bagel
- Place your cucumber on top of the mixture, followed by your salmon and red onion
- Squeeze your lemon on top of the salmon and sprinkle generously with everything but the bagel seasoning
- Cut in half and enjoy!
Notes
This recipe makes enough for one bagel. You also can use a blueberry or flax seed bagel. Pairs perfectly.
