Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
  2. Make the topping: Mix melted butter and walnut butter together in a small bowl until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, stir together oat flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the butter mixture and stir until clumpy and no longer dry. Place in the fridge to chill.
  4. Make the filling: In a large bowl (or your baking dish), combine apples, berries, lemon juice, sugar, oat flour, and cinnamon. Mix until everything is well combined. Transfer to an 8x8-inch (or similar size) baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the topping all over.
  6. Bake for 45-60 minutes until the filling is bubbling and the top is golden.
  7. Cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. The filling will thicken more as it cools.
  8. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 4 days.
